General Boarding Policy
Clients are welcome to schedule boarding reservations through our client portal or we can set it up for you personally. All reservations are subject to availability and will not be confirmed until we receive both the updated proof of vaccination and health requirements as well as the 50% deposit. It is the pet parents responsibility to make sure their dog has met all of the requirements and that they have supplied us with the necessary information.
We are often full and turning dogs away so a 50% deposit is required in order to hold your dog’s spot in boarding and absolutely no reservation will be confirmed without it. The overnight boarding deposit is 100% refundable up to 14 days prior to a reservation’s scheduled start date. If the reservation is cancelled 7 days prior to the start date, 50% of the remaining deposit will be refunded. If a reservation is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the start date, no refund will be given.
What To Bring
We provide each dog with their own raised Kuranda bed, as well as food and water bowls. We also have fleece blankets and Kong toys on hand for anyone who needs a little extra love during their stay.
Parents must bring their dog’s food to keep them on the same diet and avoid any intestinal disturbances (diarrhea!). If you happen to forget your food or run short we do have quality kibble available for $2 per meal. Please do not bring bowls unless your dog requires something special like a slow feeder.
Parents are welcome to bring any additional items, like toys and bedding, that they feel will help their pup settle into boarding better. As long as it fits in the kennel we’ll take it!
All dogs participating in daycare while boarding with us must be spayed or neutered by 9 months although we may make exceptions in the case a vet or breeder recommends waiting a year to undergo the procedure. Intact young dogs cannot participate in daycare if they go into heat or exhibit behavioral concerns, such as excessive mounting of other dogs, marking or aggression.
We do NOT accept female dogs in heat without exception.
Let’s Get To Know Each Other!
We welcome all inquiries and are happy to schedule tours of our facility during weekday business hours and weekend mornings. Please note: due to daycare dogs being loose during the day we can only give weekday tours before 9am or during their nap time from 12PM to 1PM.
A Day in the Life of…
**Times are approximate and depend on number of dogs boarding.
6:30AM-9:00AM - Everyones starts off the morning with a potty break and then yummy breakfast.
9:00AM-12:00PM - Any dog who has a Deluxe or Pamper package goes into daycare for some serious play time. Our Standard package kids take turns having their play breaks outside in the boarding yard.
12:00PM-3:00PM - Nap and snack time. Usually they all take a snooze after the morning craziness and this is also the time when we dish out any lunches, snacks and special treats. We have music playing in case anyone needs a little help relaxing.
3:00PM-6:00PM - Nap time is over and everyone needs another potty break! After outside time, everyone comes in for dinner and a little more relaxation time while the boarding staff attend to dogs’ needs and cleaning duties.
6:00PM-9:00PM - More play time for anyone with extra scheduled play time, like fetch. Pamper kids will get to chat with Mom via Skype.
9:00PM-10:30PM - Last round of potty breaks for the night and any Pamper package kids will get tucked into bed with a bedtime story. We leave soft music on to help the kids fall asleep and turn off the lights for the night.
We lock up, set the alarm and leave for the night only to return the following morning at 6:30AM to start all over again!
