Beginner Agility

Dog agility is a popular sport in which dogs and handlers navigate obstacles, racing against the clock. Dogs soar over jumps, run through tunnels, balance a seesaw, slalom through weave poles and more! It's a great physical and mental workout for both members of the team, and tons of fun for dogs and people alike! Any breed or mixed breed can do agility, and it's a fun way to bond with your dog. In this class, dogs will be introduced to agility obstacles and humans will learn handling skills to navigate through courses. Dogs should be at least 4 months old and have basic obedience skills prior to taking this class.

About your Instructor:
Jen has been involved in dog agility since 1998, when she began lessons with her Border Collie Daisy. Since then she has competed with several dogs, and earned multiple championships with Daisy and her Australian Shepherd, Bramble. Jen has been teaching agility for twelve years and currently has two young Aussies, Skid and Wheelie, who have earned several agility titles..

Cost-$150+tax for all six weeks. Dogs must be up to date on bordatella, rabies and distemper vaccines, and have a negative fecal test within the last six months using either the SNAP or ELISA test. Vet records and deposit are due by January 4.
